Who is the Interview Coach?
"Carole Martin is an
expert on the subject of interviewing."
You could say that I am passionate about interviewing - I
eat, drink, and sleep the subject. I have interviewed
thousands of people and have watched them make major
mistakes and lose the job to someone else. Although I
wanted to help them, I couldn't because I was on the
other side of the desk. After I got my Master's degree, I made a decision
to change what I did because I wanted to help people.
I
love having the ability of making a difference in
people's lives.
As an interview expert for Monster.com for the last
eight years, I have been able to reach out to millions
of people with my articles and advice. I coach people
from every walk of life and industry, and I am
always thrilled when they tell me how much I have helped them and what
a difference my coaching and my workbook have made to
them.
My clients range from attorneys to administrative
assistants and everyone else in between: FBI agents, law
enforcement, fire, police and other public agencies,
public defenders, project managers, public relations
professionals, product managers, sales people,
accounting and finance people at all levels, high-tech
IT experts, teachers, pre-med students and grads, health
care professionals, and even beauty queens.
I work with my clients on the phone or in person. For
me, what counts in my work is the caring and connection
I make with the people. I really want them to succeed,
so I will do whatever it takes to help them; and that
includes follow-up email for as long it takes. We
practice, we talk strategy and focus, and together we
come up with ideas to set them apart from the other
candidates.

On a personal
note, I have encountered many of
life's "speed bumps" and lived enough life to know that
sometimes you have to work hard just to keep on going. You
have to put one foot in front of the other and keep on
walking. I know that when you, or perhaps someone close to
you, has lost a job, that is the time you need support from
people who care.
My motto is, "Life's uncertain, eat dessert
first." My attitude is, "It's never too late to make a
change."
WHAT WILL THE INTERVIEW
COACH DO FOR ME?
We will share with you the tips and tricks that I have
learned through my own success and failures, as well as the
successes and failures of others.
This program is not a simulator or a software package. We
are live people who will give you honest, straightforward feedback
and encouragement. My team and I will help you focus and find your ACE,
that is the strength that makes you unique. In today's tight
job market, it is essential to be able to set yourself apart
from the "pack" to beat out the competition.
Your coach will work with you to make sure that you are sending the
"right" message about what you have to offer, and
teach you how to tell your "stories." You and your
coach will work
together on a strategy to show the interviewer that you are
the best person for the job and highlight what skills you
have to offer.
