I'm going to Quantico this
Sunday! |
|
"I just found out this past
Tuesday and have been really busy packing and preparing for
what's to come. I just wanted to say thank you again for all
your help. I honestly believe I couldn't have passed that
interview going in it alone." Thank you again! |
|
Quantico here I
come |
|
"Hey, I just wanted
to let you know that I was hired by the FBI. Thanks again for
all your help! I will going to Quantico in January." |
|
Calm and
Confident |
|
"Just wanted to say thanks again for
all your help. Your services were a tremendous help which I am
sure played a large part in my passing the Phase II exam. Not
only was I well prepared for the questions I was asked, but I
was able to go into the interview with a sense of calm and
confidence that was in large part due to your input, advice, and
coaching. " |
|
I PASSED!!!!!! |
|
"Just found out today! I can't
believe it! I am sooo happy! The past two weeks I have been
replaying what I could have added to my stories. I found out one
of the guys in my group received the rejection letter this past
Saturday so I thought mine was coming. I want to thank you so
much for preparing me for this interview. I could not have
passed without your support. I actually felt great after the
interview was over! Thank you so much. I can't say enough thanks
for your help :)" |
|
Only 50% that interviewed with me
passed. |
|
"Thank you!!:-) I just found out today I passed. Only
50% that interviewed with me passed. Thank you for all of your
help! I think everything about your sessions helped me. The
situational questions we went over were very helpful. When I
talked to my recruiter yesterday he told me that usually he
doesn't get feedback from the interviewers, but my interviewers
told him that they were very impressed with me.:-) Thank you
again for everything!:-)" |
|
I will HIGHLY recommend you to
anyone going through this process. |
|
"I PASSED!!!!! Thank you so much for all your
help, it was well worth it. There was no way I could have made it through if it
hadn't been for you. I will HIGHLY recommend you to anyone I hear going through
this process. Thank you so much, and if there is anything you ever need in the
future..be sure to let me know....Now comes the Polygraph...:-)ng!:-)" |

The FBI
IS Hiring!
The FBI - Phase II interview is the most
intense and
challenging interview of its kind.
I have been coaching FBI candidates
for more than
three years and have had a wonderful
success rate helping
people pass this unusual interview. The challenge is that the agents
interviewing you will only know one thing about you - your name. They
will not have access to any applications or other documents - it is a
"blind date."
Because the interview is primarily
"behavioral based," preparation will be ESSENTIAL - or you will fail and
have to wait a year before you can apply again. What a waste!
FBI Special Prep Package
Through my training and behavioral interview certification, plus my
experience working with candidates, I have put together an FBI Phase II
Preparation Package that will help you focus and prepare for your
upcoming experience. This intense exercise features an exclusive e-book
and two one-hour coaching sessions. |
I have put together a special "ebook" about the
FBI
Phase II interview based on my expertise and training
as a behavioral interviewer, and my many years doing similar interviewing.
The book contains exercises and information to
prepare you for our work together to get you ready to go in and "ace" that
interview. I have summarized typical questions that may be asked based on the
FBI website and the key factors that they are seeking in a candidate.
The questions are written in the behavioral style
- "Tell me about a time when..." and the situational style "What would you do
if...?"
I give you this ebook as part of a package which
includes two fifty-minute coaching sessions. In these sessions I ask the
questions that you have been preparing for and we do a "mock" interview. I
record the answers to the questions and play them back so that we can both
critique them to make them stronger and more competitive.
I also assist you in putting together key
statements that make you stand out from the other candidates. We will work on
five points you want to make during the interview. I will summarize these points
and send them to you after our first session together. You must be focused in
this interview and be able to let them know who you are and why you would be a
good FBI agent.
|
Two important factors in
passing this interview are PREPARATION
and PRACTICE. You CANNOT WING this
interview and pass. |
I am very straight forward with my advice - with
the intention of improving your delivery and getting you ready to pass the
interview. I am tough but also very supportive. I help to prepare you for a very
intense interview session. One person who passed said it was the "most intense"
hour of his life.
|
My success rate for those
passing that I have coached is very high – close to 90% give or take.
(Over 500 FBI clients) |
I hear from people each week telling me that they
passed the interview and how their work with me was worth "every penny spent."
That makes me very happy! I really want you to pass this interview process and
will do everything in my power to help you. Many candidates that I coached
through the process have made it all the way to become Agents – it’s a long,
tough process. I’m really proud to have worked with them – and want that for you
too!
At least 50 people who I have coached were people
who failed the test last year (before finding my services). After working with
me almost all of them passed.
For this package you receive:
- the ebook (plus several attachments)
- 25 minute recording of my tips and
suggestions for this interview
- your five points summarized, written by me
and sent to you
- two 50-minute coaching sessions
If you are interested we should talk so that you
can ask questions. Or send me an email for full information to
Best wishes
Carole

PS - If you are concerned about my tainting your
chances because of insider information let me assure you that I do NOT have
insider information on the questions nor do I do anything illegal.
Any feedback I pass on is of a general nature. I
have a great deal of experience with the type of behavioral interviewing because
I did something very similar for three years for Pacific Bell. I have also
authored four books on the subject of interviewing.
I will help you get focused and give you
feedback. I will also hold you accountable to practice - that's where I can
really help you.
"Hey, it's the State Police guy.
If you remember, I let you know that I felt great about my interview.
I got the letter the other day telling me that I have been certified
to join the next academy class! I am so glad that I made the decision to
make you my interview coach. The material was great and above all...I
was so impressed that you personally critiqued and refined my personal
statement. I'm just blown away by your responsiveness through this."
"One note...I tried to get my buddy
(interviewing for the same position) to buy your services.
Unfortunately, he didn't do it and for whatever reason, he didn't get
certified. I have a hard time thinking that if he'd just have done the
course (like I did), we'd be going into the academy together. --
Thanks again for everything!" Ross D. |
|
"I've
been hired and am heading to the academy this month!
You prepared me for my FBI Interview more than a
year ago. I don't know what my result would have been without your help, but
WITH your help, I left the interview feeling confident. A short time later I
found out that I did indeed pass that phase of the process -- to my recollection
you were one of the first people I notified.
Well, it's been a long time coming, but I just
received my letter today -- As I
mentioned, your training was fantastic and I speak highly of it to
others that ask me about this hiring process. I just had to let you know
and thank you once again for your support and encouragement. --

"I PASSED MY INTERVIEW!
So I'm writing to say thank you! You really prepared
me for the interview and the points and situations, etc that we worked on were
perfect! I was very prepared for all questions that they asked me, and look…it
paid off! So anyway, I was just writing to let you know I passed, and to say
thank you for your time and services. That was money well spent!! (How often do
you get to say that??)" -- D.S. |
|

I was not nervous at all when I walked in. Advice I would offer
to other candidates

thanks! Your lessons were a real help and you really prepared me for the type of

about... "time and project management skills", "completed school during the
evening while working full time", etc.
You're the best! I can't thank you enough!" |

I just wanted to thank you for all your help. I just received
word that I passed the phase II interview. The information that you gave me was

"Your advice was fantastic.
I nailed the interview and have been cleared to continue on to the next phase.
Many thanks! If you need a reference, I will sing your praises. As you advised I
stayed relaxed and the answers flowed."

|
"While Carole Martin specializes In FBI
Phase II interview coaching, many of the same principles apply to the structured
interview portion of the oral assessment for the Foreign Service.
Carole interviewed me by phone to help me organize my experience and motivation
for wanting to join the Foreign Service. After talking about my personal
history, she emailed me a summary of 5 key points that she thought I should
emphasize."
"Carole taught me the secrets of good story
telling, which is the key to passing the Foreign Service oral assessment
structured interview. I was spending too much time setting up the story, and not
good at breaking the main points down into concise details, which the assessors
are looking for. Carole also helped me work on a strong closing to each story. A
good ending is critical, because the assessors are looking for composure (this
is a stressful interview) and oral communication skills."
|
|
"I whole heartedly need to thank you for
helping me achieve my calling.
I knew
after our first session that it would be money well
spent. As a recruiter I know how to
interview but it is so different on the other end. You made me think outside of
the box and you gave me some great tips. You were one of the first people I
tried to call because I knew you were in it with me. My accomplishment is our
accomplishment and I really could not have done it without you.
I'm getting calls from other agencies and this
should encourage them."
|
|
"I passed!
Thank you for your help and advice. My panel
interview went fabulous; it was a breeze when I utilized your tips. Thank you
once again. " |
|
"The DEA was impressed with my answers...
I was terrified about my upcoming panel interview with the DEA.
After spending two hours with you, I feel that I can come up with a strong and
truthful answer for any question the DEA may throw at me. The DEA was impressed
with my answers and they commended me on my thorough preparation.
I owe it all to you." |
|
"Thank you for your help and advice.
My panel interview went fabulous; it was a breeze when I utilize
your tips. Thank you once again. " |
|
"I am still in the background phase, it
should take another month or 2 before I get placed on the list.
I honestly could not have done it without you. It was a very stressful
interview, but I did feel prepared for it. They asked me a lot of situational
questions. They are also pretty specific in what they are looking for. One
question was situational "what would you do if." I had actually been in a
similar situation that he was asking about and I told him that and his response
was that what I had done wasn't the question, and he was specifically asking me
what I would do. They were definitely a tough crowd. Not a whole lot of
expression, professional but not exactly friendly."
"I know several people who have made it to the
interview and none have passed. One of them thought I was crazy to hire and
interview coach especially since I myself am a recruiter. He was one of the
first people I called to tell him the good news and next time he receives an
interview (if he ever does- they are hard to come by) he will be giving you a
call. "
|
|
"I passed!!!
I did what you told me and kept practicing. The
panel told me I did a very good job. Thank you for all the help and confidence!
I could not have done it without you!" |
